Anti-xCT antibody-drug conjugate (Agilvax)

Orally administered phenylbutazone (I) and aspirin (II) to dogs yielded increased amounts of DNA in stomach washings.The increase DNA is due to increased shedding of mucosal cells with a concomitant lack of turnover of the cells.Gastric bleeding induced by I and II is believed to be a result of reduced replacement of such cells.
