Novartis
is
building
a new 46,000-square-foot factory in Denton, TX. Construction will start this year and is expected to be operational in 2028. The new facility is a part of its $23 billion pledge to the US. It declined to comment on how much the new build will cost.
German financial regulator
BaFin
is widening its
investigation
into
Gerresheimer’s
2024 and 2025 financials. As such, Gerresheimer is delaying its 2025 annual report, originally scheduled for Feb. 26. BaFin
started
its investigation into Gerresheimer’s financials in September over concerns that it recorded revenue from customer contracts earlier than it should have.
Elsewhere, Gerresheimer also announced the sale of its US subsidiary Centor, which specializes in packaging for US prescription drugs, due to “strong interest from potential buyers.” It did not say who the buyer was.
Supernus
has
restarted
taking orders for its Parkinson’s disease drug-device therapy Onapgo after securing additional stock from its unnamed supply partner. Supernus is working with a second supplier who will start shipping Onapgo in 2027. Supernus had
to pause orders
for new patients after facing higher-than-expected demand. Onapgo’s net product sales reached $17.3 million for 2025, after launching in April last year.
Bora Pharmaceuticals
and
GSK
renewed
their manufacturing partnership. Bora makes over 335 individual products for GSK in Canada after it bought a factory from GSK in 2020. The expanded partnership will also give GSK access to Bora’s new oral solid dose factory in Maple Grove, MN.
