Premier is engaged in providing maintenance services and sales for new, used, and refurbished imaging and biomedical equipment. Radon said that the acquisition will provide new solutions and technology, strengthen its position in the medical imaging market, and further expands its geographic footprint. As part of the deal, Premier CEO and owner Robin West will be appointed to the leadership team of Radon, contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the company. Radon CEO Anthony Border said: “We’ve been partnering with Premier for more than 20 years and are thrilled to formalize our relationship and officially welcome them to the Radon family. “Robin West has been a fantastic leader who has helped build Premier’s reputation for delivering high-quality products, and his team of engineers are some of the best in the industry. We’re proud to have them on board for this next step on our journey.” Established in 1976, Radon Medical Imaging is engaged in servicing, assembling, repairing, selling, and distributing new and refurbished medical imaging equipment. The equipment includes MRI, PET/CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, cardiac cath lab, urology, digital DR and CR, C-arm, general X-Ray and select PACS systems. Based in Charleston, West Virginia, the company has more than 100 employees across 13 states and operates from additional locations in Moneta, Virginia, and Gaffney, South Carolina. Premier has been selling, servicing, and repairing imaging equipment for more than 30 years, including fluoroscopy, C-arm, X-Ray and other modalities, and provides engineering services for biomedical equipment. The company has expertise in dynamic flat panel fluoroscopy technology updates for GE Advantx, Legacy and Precision 500 analogue fluoroscopy machines. It has served several surgery centres, hospitals, and other third-party independent service organisations in the southeast region of the US.
