The use of Enzacryl gel [prepared by copolymerization of N-acryloylmorpholine (I) and N,N'-methylenediacrylamide (II)] for gel-permeation chromatog. of organic mols. in aqueous and organic solvents is discussed. The gel is relatively resistant towards chems. and microorganisms. The use of Enzacryl CO2H and Enzacryl DEAE as ion exchangers is also discussed. The characteristics of different Enzacryl gels obtained by various degrees of dilution of the monomer and various I/II ratios are studied.
