The aim of this paper is to establish an HPLC method for the determination of loganin in zhibodihuang capsules.A Shim pack CLC C18 column was used, with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-water (15:85).The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min-1 and the detection wavelength was 232 nm.The results showed that the concentration of loganin was linearly related to its peak area in the range between 20.42 and 102.1 mg/L-1, r = 0.999 8 and the average recovery was 98.45%, with RSD of 0.93%.It was concluded that this method is simple, quick, well reproducible and can be used for the quant. anal.
