A method was established to determine the content of sodium danshensu in Shuguan capsule.High-performance liquid chromatog. (HPLC) was used with Waters C18 column (4.6 mm × 250 mm), the mobile phase of methanol-water-glacial acetic acid-dimethylformamide (5:90:5:2) at the flow rate of 1.0 mg/min, and determine wavelength at 280 nm.The linear relationship between the sodium danshensu content and the peak area was good within the range of 0.48 - 8.15 μg. The average recovery was 100% and RSD was 1.2% (n=5).The method was simple, quick, reproducible, accurate and easy for the quantity control of Shuguan capsule.
