2,2'-Bipyrazine was synthesized with 2-chloropyrazine, tetrabutylammonium bromide and N,N-diisopropylethylamine by using palladium chloride as a catalyst. The effects of catalyst, base and solvent on the yield of 2,2'-bipyrazine were discussed. The optimal reaction process for synthesis of 2,2'-bipyrazine was obtained.
