Electromed names new president and CEO

He will replace Kathleen Skarvan, who is retiring after 10 years at the company. Cunniff joins the company with more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in the medtech industry with demonstrated success in general management, sales and marketing, finance, manufacturing, distribution, mergers and acquisitions. He most recently was president and CEO of Provista, a Vizient company. “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Cunniff as president and CEO,” Board Chair Lee Jones said in a news release. “Jim is a proven executive with deep experience driving growth and profitability through excellence in products and services that benefit patients and support care teams.” He has held numerous other leadership positions, including president and CEO at Leiters, senior VP of Americas for Kinetics Concepts, and president of emerging markets for Stryker. “I am thrilled that Jim Cunniff will be my successor as President and Chief Executive Officer of Electromed and look forward to working with him as I transition to the Chair role,” Skarvan said. “I am incredibly proud of what the Electromed team has accomplished under my leadership over the past decade, and I am confident that Jim is the ideal candidate to lead Electromed into its next phase of growth.” “I am delighted to be joining this dynamic company, and to collaborate closely with Kathleen, the Board and the management team during the transition,” Cunniff said. “I look forward to continuing to deliver against strategic initiatives, grow commercial adoption and deliver strong shareholder results.”
