This paper established a method for detecting pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, chlorphenamine maleate, and dextromethorphan hydrobromide in Huifeining simultaneously by HPLC.Detection was performed on a HYPERSIL C18 column (4.6 mm × 200 mm, 0.5 μm) with 0.0025 mol/L methanol solution of sodium hexanesulfonate-water (containing 1.5% triethylamine) (53:47) as mobile phase, pH = 3.0 (adjusted with phosphoric acid), detection wavelength at 205 nm, and flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.Result showed that pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, chlorphenamine maleate and dextromethorphan hydrobromide had linear relationship in the ranges of 5.48-274 μg/mL (r = 0.99997, n = 5), 0.43-21.4 μg/mL (r = 1.0000, n = 5), and 1.94-96.8 μg/mL (r = 0.99998, n = 5) resp.This method was simple, rapid, accurate and repeatable, and was suitable for content determination of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, chlorphenamine maleate, and dextromethorphan hydrobromide in Huifeining.
