Three main solvents such as ethanol, methanol and aqueous extracts were used for this study. All the three extracts contains primary and secondary phytoconstituents such as proteins, phenolic compounds, alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, carbohydrates and glycosides. The results show significant difference between ethanol, methanol and aqueous extracts The antioxidant study showed major differences among the three extracts The present study revealed that the ethanolic extracts showed higher significant effects in quant. and qual. phytoconstituents and antioxidant activity of arygeria nervosa. The methanol and aqueous extracts showed lower antioxidant activity and quant. phytoconstituents, when compared with ethanol extract
