A novel Lyn-like protein tyrosine kinase identified in lamprey and its role in immune response.We reported the characterization of a Lyn homolog from lamprey, a representative of jawless vertebrates.The Lja-Lynlike possesses all of the conserved domains and has high sequence similarity with the mammalian Lyn protein.
