At present, there are many methods for the determination of metal elements, mainly at. absorption spectrometry [3-5], at. emission spectrometry [6-8], electrochem. determination method9], etc., but these methods can only determine a single element., the operation is complicated.Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) has the advantages of high sensitivity, multi-element simultaneous rapid determination, and less interference [10-13].In this work, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was used to determine the contents of 9 metal elements including cadmium, lead, arsenic, mercury, cobalt, vanadium, nickel, aluminum and barium in oral rehydration salt powder (III).
