It is reported that XZK has the ability to modulate blood lipid levels, thereby decreasing the likelihood of cardiovascular incidents and overall mortality among patients suffering from hypertension and dyslipidemia. To ensure the overall quality of XZK, strict quality control measures are essential. In this study, the quality consistency of XZK capsules was investigated using a five-wavelength fusion fingerprint (FWFFT) method, complemented by all-ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) analysis. The systematically quantified fingerprint method (SQFM) was applied to merge the five HPLC fingerprint wavelengths of 30 batches of XZK samples into a single representative wavelength using multi-wavelength fusion technology for consistency evaluation. An in vitro antioxidant activity assay was conducted, and the relationship between antioxidant activity and the HPLC fingerprint was analyzed using the grey correlation method to establish a spectrum-effect relationship. The results of four-dimensional fingerprint indicated that the samples were classified into four distinct grades. S9 and S23 were categorized as grade 2, S2 as grade 4, S30 as grade 6, and all other samples as grade 1, and the antioxidant results showed that the two quantitative active components, lovastatin and genistein, in XZK had significant antioxidant activity. This study integrates the variations in different sample characteristics using the four-dimensional fusion fingerprint, and these differences are represented through a grading system. FWFFT technology effectively compensates for the limitations of single-wavelength evaluation methods and, when combined with UV, FT-IR, and DSC, reduces the bias introduced by single-technology evaluations. The quality evaluation of Xuezhikang capsules by using systematic quantitative fingerprinting technology combined with various techniques provides a new direction for the integration of pharmaceutical analysis technologies, it provides a safe, reliable and convenient way for the comprehensive quality control of traditional Chinese medicine.
