In this study, Beta-Cyclodextrin Coated Cobalt Ferrite nanoparticles (CoFe2O4@BCD NPs) are synthesized and characterized to assess their efficacy in enhancing the adsorption of Coomassie Brilliant Blue dye.The nanoparticles, which is synthesized by coprecipitation method, exhibit an average size of 14 nm and a magnetic saturation of 48.53 A·m2/kg.Rapid adsorption kinetic is observed with 87 % of the removed dye within the first 3 min while achieving saturation within 5 min corresponding to a maximum adsorption capacity of 175.81 mg/g.The adsorption process conforms to a pseudo-second-order kinetic model (R2=1) and remains stable under varying pH, temperature, and saline/glucose conditions even though minor fluctuations in adsorption capacity are noted.Regeneration tests show that the CoFe2O4@BCD NPs retain their performance over five cycles.Cytotoxicity assays on the A549 human alveolar adenocarcinoma cell line confirms their biocompatibility. With their rapid, high-capacity adsorption, magnetic properties, and biocompatibility, CoFe2O4@BCD NPs offer significant potential for future water remediation applications.
