The process of D-p-Hydroxyphenylglycine (D-HPG) was studied.D (-) p-hydroxyphenylglycine Me ester hydrochloride (D-HPGM) was synthesized with D (-) p-hydroxyphenylglycine (D-HPG) as starting material, methanol as solvent, and sulfoxide chloride as acyl chlorination reagent.The 7-ADCA nucleus was recovered from the mother liquor by enzymic method after the crystallization of cefhydroxylamine, and was recycled for the synthesis of cefhydroxylamine (enzymic).The molar yield reached 94.9%, which was 11.6% higher than that of the mother liquor chelating route by 83.3%, and was the highest reported in the literature.
