The formulation of simvastatin tablets was improved.The simvastatin capsules were made by polyacrylic resin IV.The formulation and preparation of simvastatin tablets were identified via screening disintegrant and other excipients.The problems of oxidation and unstability was solved.L-hydroxypropyl cellulose and sodium carboxymethyl starch was used as disintegrant.The new formulation is reasonable and new technol. is feasible.

Effects of Different Grinding Methods on in Vitro Dissolution of Ursodeoxycholic Acid Capsules

OBJECTIVE To compare the in vitro dissolution of ursodeoxycholic acid capsules prepared by different grinding methods and screen the best grinding method.METHODS Using the large cup method, HPLC was used to investigate the simi- larity of dissolution behaviors between the reference preparation Ursofalk ∼ (the original drug) and the self-made ursodeoxycholic acid capsules in four dissolution media.The grinding method which obtained product with qualified similarity factor f2 was determined as the best technol.RESULTS The ursodeoxycholic acid capsules made with raw material micronized by ball grinder for 3 rain had similar dissolution curve to the original drug.CONCLUSION Rational preparation process is established for ursodeoxycholic acid capsules.

Using daylily in Qingyang, Gansu Province as raw material, the effect of temperature, packaging, and pest control (NaHSO3) on the preservation and insect control of daylily were studied.The best option to inhibit browning was 28°C, not vacuum sealed, NaHSO3 0.5%.
