The aim is to assess the effect of sulfotanshinone sodium injection on myocardial injury in rats with sepsis. The sepsis SD rats model was established by cecal ligation and puncture operation(CLP), and after dosing 18 days by caudal vein, the survival rate of the exptl. group rats was observed after the treatment; SD rats took daily medication after CLP surgery to observe rat cardiac hemodynamic parameters, after collection of rat serum and myocardial tissue homogenate, the levels of IL-1, IL-6, IL-10, PCT, TNF-α, HMGB1, cTN-I, cTN-T, CRP, BNP and other factors were determined to assess the effects of sulfotanshinone sodium injection on inflammatory factor in 28 h, 52 h, 76 h after surgery. After continuous dosing of sulfotanshinone sodium injection for 18 days, rats with sepsis in high and low dose groups could have significantly increased survival rate. Rats took drugs 3 times, the therapeutic effect was further reflected, showing comprehensive improvement of the left heart function index, a significant reduction in all inflammatory factor, except IL-1 and IL-10. The therapeutic effect of sulfotanshinone sodium injection was dose dependent, the myocardial pathol. anal. also supported the treatment consequence. The sulfotanshinone sodium injection showed a protective effect on myocardial injury in rats with sepsis, it was dose-dependent. The role in the continuous administration did best after 3 times.
